The International Association of IT Asset Managers’ 2-Day Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional Course focuses on the lifecycle processes for managing hardware assets effectively. Through each step in the lifecycle of hardware assets, the unique business issues for the IT Asset Manager are presented, including hardware aspects to standards, contracts, policies, savings opportunities and tools available to help automate processes. Students review the current state of Hardware Asset Management practices and discuss the drivers for change, including legislation and cost savings. The best practices for IT Asset Management will be presented from the hardware perspective, and complement the knowledge gained in the CSAM and CITAM courses.
Upon completion of the 2-day course, trainees are given a review followed by testing to become Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional. Upon passage of the course testing program, the trainee will be awarded full CHAMP Certification. The certification test is given on the afternoon of the 3rd day for those wishing to gain certification.
