The Forgotten Task As we extend our job skills through education, networking and keeping abreast of changes impacting our profession, we strive to perform our jobs better and to take that next career step. In addition to moving upwards in our job, our professional development also prepares us for that planned or unplanned change in employment by increasing our value to the next employer. But how do we find that next position? And how should we present ourselves in order to be offered the position that is right for us?
Start managing your career like an ITAM project by setting goals, identifying tasks and measuring success for a career plan regardless of whether you are looking for a position or happy where you are.

All members are encouraged to review these lists frequently to keep abreast of the changing opportunities and talented people available. As professionals and members of a professional association, great value comes from networking. We learn the most from each other – and are in the best position to help each other. Include awareness of the job scene as part of your professional responsibility. Help others find that new position, or help a fellow professional find the right candidate.
