Since process is the key to IAITAM’s Best Practice Library, and an integral part of any ITAM model, the IBPL expands the framework created in the Best Practice BluePrint and gives the reader the practical, actionable, and sound business processes for IT Asset Management implementations.

IAITAM first introduced the Best Practice BluePrint as an overview guide to the Library which will make its debut at the 2007 Conference.  The companion 12 volumes set the standard for all others to follow for successful ITAM installations.  They expand upon the teachings of IAITAM’s CSAM, CHAMP and CITAM courses and provide the practitioner with a usable ITAM program guide.  The IBPL offers its readers modifiable formats for many templates key to an ITAM installation such as:

• Process Workflows
• Self-Assessments
• Terms and Conditions and more

The Best Practice Library is equally powerful for those organizations re-engineering and improving existing practices as well as for those beginning new ITAM initiatives.

 
The Workshop will be broken down into 2 segments:

Segment 1: Review of Best Practice Library and the relationships and dependencies between the 12 Key Process Areas:

• Vendor Management

Segment 2: Vendor Management and Acquisition Management Process Areas in-depth group workshop 

Each attendee will walk away with:

• An understanding of the relationships and dependencies between the 12 Key Process Areas
• Why each process and sub-process is important to your organization
• A terms and conditions template to emulate
• A contract template to use
• An understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the Acquisitions Process, one of the 12 Key Process Areas in the IBPL
• Self-assessment questions that will help your organization analyze current processes
• Your choice of one of the following:
  • Full copy of the Best Practice BluePrint ($495 value)
  • Full copy of the Employee Awareness Program ($495 value)
• 10 points towards your course recertification for 2008.

Only those with CSAM, CHAMP or CITAM certification will be permitted to attend the IBPL Workshop.  All attendees must be prepared for group workshop activities.

The fee is $695 USD for this Workshop.   This event is limited to 50 registrants per day.
