Below are details pertinent to all IAITAM training events:

IAITAM training courses run from 9 AM to 5 PM

Beverage service is provided. Students are responsible for their own luncheon and evening meals.

Course materials are distributed to each attendee. Course materials consist of a bound manual and printed presentation.

The Certification Test if applicable is administered on the final day after a 1/2 day review.

Test results are awarded to the individual being tested. Grades are either pass/fail – no actual percentage will be released. Attendees must achieve an 85% to pass IAITAM certification tests. Employers requesting test results must request it through the employee or a release must be signed by the employee authorizing IAITAM to release test results to their employer.

If time permits, IAITAM instructors will make themselves available to attendees during the early evening hours if requested. Please discuss with the instructor during normal course hours.

All IAITAM courses are taught by IAITAM professionally trained employees.

Course dress is business casual.

Students are not to bring their personal computers or mobile phones to class.

Courses are very interactive so bring your questions with you and be prepared to address them. It is IAITAM's goal to address your organization's issues.

For all Onsite Courses: 50% is due on all courses when the course is scheduled. The remainder of the course fee is due 30 days before the course commences unless otherwise noted by IAITAM. Please contact Lynne at lweiss@iaitam.org for further details or to schedule an onsite course.

For all onsite CSAM, CHAMP and Negotiation courses, the fees do not include travel expenses for IAITAM trainers. Travel expenses are billed within 30 days of the course completion. Travel expenses are included in all CITAM course fees. These terms apply to courses conducted within the continental US only.

All International Courses are to be presented to IAITAM with at least a 90 days advance notice. Travel and expense fees are not included in the course costs for International courses. Please contact IAITAM for travel and expense terms and conditions for onsite courses outside the continental US.

IAITAM COURSE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Indicate on the Course & Certification Registration Form the Course(s) you wish to attend.
All Courses begin each day at 9:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m.
The Certification test is administered on the final day of the Course. Please indicate on the Course & Certification Registration Form if you plan on taking the Certification Test.
Certification Test results are provided to the individual taking the Certification Test. Results are either Pass or Fail. Students must achieve an 85% to pass the Certification Test. Employers requesting Certification Test results must request the Certification Test results through their employee student taking the Certification Test or a release must be signed by the employee student taking the Certification Test authorizing IAITAM to release the employee student’s Certification Test results.
The CSAM or CHAMP Courses are recommended prerequisites to the CITAM Course. The CSAM and CHAMP Courses set the groundwork for the CITAM Course and provides the student with the necessary foundation to begin an IT Asset Management program.
All Course Fees are to be paid in U.S. Dollars. Payment for all Courses is due upon registration. All Course Fees must be received prior to the start of the Course or the student will not be permitted to attend the Course. IAITAM’s Cancellation Policy applies to all Courses. Full refunds will be issued or cancellation of a Course if received in writing by IAITAM at least thirty (30) days prior to the start of the Course and addressed to IAITAM at 1137 State Route 43, Suffield, Ohio 44260-9678 USA or info@iaitam.org. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations less than thirty (30) days in advance of the start of the Course. For all requests for a change of Course registration dates contact IAITAM in writing at 1137 State Route 43, Suffield, Ohio 44260-9678 USA or info@iaitam.org.
IAITAM reserves the right to cancel any Course with thirty (30) days prior written notice to registered students. In the event of a Course cancellation by IAITAM, a full refund will be issued to the registered student or may be applied to a Course in the future at IAITAM’s discretion.
On-Site Courses Only
- All On-Site Courses to be held in the United States must be scheduled a minimum of sixty (60) days in advance of the start of the Course.
- All On-Site Courses to be held outside of the United States must be scheduled a minimum of ninety (90) days in advance of the start of the Course.
- Fifty Percent (50%) of the On-Site Course Fee is due upon the scheduling of the Course, with the balance due thirty (30) days prior to the commencement of the Course.
- Course Fees do not include related travel expenses for IAITAM Trainer(s). Travel expenses will be billed within thirty (30) days of the end of the Course and are due and payable within ten (10) days of receipt of same.
- For International travel, the instructor’s airfare will be billed and payable when the course is scheduled along with the fifty percent (50%) payment due. All additional charges for lodging, meals and incidentals will be invoiced within thirty (30) days of the course completion
- All Certificates for students passing the Certification Test will be issued to a single contact within the organization for distribution.
- A cancellation fee of Fifty Percent (50%) of the total On-Site Course Fee will be assessed for any On-Site Course canceled within thirty (30) days of the start of the On-Site Course.
Force Majeure – IAITAM shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the hosting of a Course if such failure or delay is caused by fire, flood, strike or other labor interruption, terrorism, war, riot, an act of God, an act of government, insurrection, civil disturbance or other cause beyond IAITAM’s reasonable control.
IAITAM acknowledges that in the process of teaching the Courses that students may reveal sensitive and/or confidential information about themselves or their respective organizations. IAITAM maintains the privacy of all students and their organizations and will only use a student’s name and that of his/her organization with written permission of said student and organization. Students acknowledge and agree that information and examples revealed during the Courses, whether confidential or not, may be used by IAITAM in an anonymous manner.
